Top global phone manufacturer Vivo is set to send the mobile phone industry in frenzy with the release of yet another stunner in their smartphone series. Set to be unveiled March, Vivo’s latest offering promises consumers bigger and better offerings in their mobile phone experience.

Vivo to bring the house down this March with newest flagship
“Vivo will offer another innovative flagship phone this March”

Following the success of the V7 plus and the V7 release, word is out that consumers can expect that the new offering will retain all of the V7 phones’ impressive, thumbprint features albeit enhanced and updated with specs that are centered on delivering flawless selfie shots made even by state-of-the-art artificial intelligence beautifying tools. Because it is still dedicated in delivering perfect photos, it should also be expected that the camera will rock a souped up HDR mode.

Moreover, a buzz on this newest Vivo flagship includes a bigger display complemented by a full HD resolution. As the V7’s successor, the Game Mode feature is expected to still be onboard in the list of specifications along with the futuristic Face ID and fingerprint unlock component.

The mobile phone industry awaits with bated breath as Vivo’s freshest charmer is out in the market. Although the specs are merely founded on speculations, one thing that is certain is Vivo will never disappoint.

Summer Essentials other than Swimwear & Sun Block

Audley Headphones, Lewis Luxury Charging Dock, Jaguar Monster Power Bank

Summer has officially begun and other than my swimwear and sun block, here are 3 things that I always bring with me whenever I go out for a summer vacay:

Audley StyleJam Series Headphones

I am living for these stylish over-the-ear headphones with built-in microphone. Audley StyleJam Headphones are large but lightweight; unbelievably comfortable with theater-like quality audio which is just perfect for movies (hear it to believe it!) and all music genres; combined with soft leather cushions meant to envelope your ears in comfort. The StyleJam series comes in 3 colors: Burst Black, Rose Pink, and my pick, the San Francisco Blue!

Lewis Luxury Apple Charging Dock

The Lewis Luxury Apple Charging Dock is a refined, brushed aluminum stand designed to complement your Apple device. I just love how I can dock my iPhone to charge hands-free during speakerphone calls and FaceTime chats, or even when I’m playing my favorite tunes. I can also transfer data to my PC and based on my own observation, it fills up my iPhone’s battery faster than a regular charger.

Jaguar Monster 10,050 MAH Power Bank

This is currently my favorite PB. It’s stylish white casing definitely fits my modern lifestyle. This little baby is compatible with all phones, tablets, music players, feature phones and brands (local and international!) It has built-in flashlight function (dual purpose!) with adjustable brightness settings. It also has overcharging, overcurrent, overtemperature, and short circuit protection so it’s perfect for forgetful dudes like me (LOL!)

Just imagine yourself spending a vacation at your favorite beach while enjoying good music and without worrying about your phone’s battery. Get yours now and make your summer extra fun!

Credits to my Digital Frontier fam for sending these awesome items to me for a review. These items are *hands-down* of good quality and I’m obsessed!

5 Reasons why iPhone 7 is worth it

256GB Matte Black iPhone 7 Plus — REDdefines

Red meets Black — The new breed of iPhone has finally arrived the country! Last November 11, Power Mac Center PH has finally launched the two new iPhone variants,  iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, featuring the black edition which comes in matte and glossy finish!

For the record, my parents have given me the latest version of iPhone for 5 consecutive years now (props to Apple for always releasing their new iPhones on early November) and it has always gave me ants in my pants but I’ve never been that bright-eyed and bushy-tailed until I found out that the new breed of iPhones will have a 256 GB variant! That’s like, every blogger’s dream! (or at least, for me) *LOL* but seriously, I find it very essential and beneficial because…

It has a 256 GB of storage space

As a blogger (actually, back when I wasn’t even a blogger yet), I always get my phone storage full. Maybe because I’m super vain, but really, I’d like to think that it’s all because I’m passionate about photography (just kill me for giving the lamest excuse, hahaha!) To cut the story short, I always end up saving my photos in my external hard drive which makes it so difficult to keep track. With the whopping 256 GB storage space of the new iPhone, I think it might take me a while before getting it full.

It features advanced camera systems

It has two cameras that shoot as one! You read it right! Two! Not one… Two cameras that zoom digitally up to 10x! Also, who doesn’t want a better camera quality? It now has a 12MP camera, an optical image stabilization, 7MP Facetime HD camera, and a Quad-LED True Tone flash. I know other brands offer greater megapixels but based on my personal experience, iPhone camera still stands out. Honestly, this isn’t that big of a con for me because I always use my Fujifilm X-T10 and Canon 650D when taking blog photos but as long as there is an upgrade, I’m in! I might sound like a proud apple fanboy right now, but hell I am. *LOL*

It has the brightest, most colorful iPhone display yet

If you guys haven’t checked out the display settings yet, you are so missing out! It has a wide gamut of color, it’s 25%  brighter and now has a 3D touch! Like, srsly? I’m literally speechless!

It’s now in stereo

The new iPhone has a new stereo speaker system which makes it 2x louder than my previous phone, the iPhone 6s. Also, it’s EarPods now has a lightning connector.

It has the best performance and battery life EVER in an iPhone

It has an A10 Fusion Chip which is considered the most powerful chip ever in a smartphone! It’s 2x faster than iPhone 6 and has the longest battery life ever in an iPhone! Not to mention that it’s splash and water resistant!

It looks every bit as powerful as it actually is. This is the new iPhone 7, guys, and these are all the reasons why I think that it’s super worth it!

Make a statement with Calypso PH’s classy accessories

Calypso PH bracelets — REDdefines

With today’s fast-paced updates and trends in fashion, it’s a bit difficult to make a statement. Sometimes, a good top and bottom plus your favorite sneakers fall short in expressing the statement that you want to make and that’s when you should consider investing in good and classy accessories that would accentuate your look. Don’t get me wrong because I, for one, spends a lot in putting up ensembles or OOTD but I’ve always been fond of going the extra mile and thus, accessorizing.

Calypso PH offers timeless style for men and women. I opted for their Greek Bracelets, Santorini & Athens, because they suit my personal style well. Surprisingly, their products do not only look good, but also have their own meanings and uses! The Santorini bracelet is made of 5mm Snowflake Obsidian beads which is a stone of purity that brings balance to the body, mind and spirit. On the other hand, my favorite, the Athens bracelet is made of 5mm Quartz beads which resonate strongly within the eighth chakra, commonly known as the soul star chakra, and within the higher transpersonal chakras. What could be more interesting right?

Check out Calypso PH‘s Instagram page or head on directly to to inquire or place an order. Don’t forget to use my code “RED10” to enjoy 10% discount on your purchase!

Unleash your inner child at Ball Pit Manila

Read more on my Instagram @reddefines

The most potent muse of all is our own inner child.

These are the few words that Stephen Nasmanovitch once said which I personally do believe in. Growing up, I’ve always been the kid who never gets tired of playing. As a matter of fact, the thing that I hated the most during my childhood was bedtime.

I’ve known BPM for quite some time now. I mean, any nethead would definitely see random posts about BPM trending on social media because let’s face it, incorporating a pool of white balls inside a cafe was a genius move considering how people nowadays are getting more and more artsy over time. I, for one, have  always wanted to go to BPM but I never had the chance to until last August 14, on the day of Charlie Puth’s concert in Manila. The concert was at 8pm of that day so I thought it was the perfect timing for me to finally experience BPM.

Like what I’ve said on my previous blog, that day started off really bad because heavy rains were everywhere. Whilst on the road, I searched up BPM’s contact number on their website and called them to confirm if no roads are closed and that they would open on that day. Luckily, lady luck shone on me as the rest of the day literally turned from grey and cloudy to sunny and fun!

So, our schedule at BPM was at 12-1pm. For rates and schedule, click here. I was using waze because I didn’t know exactly where BPM is located. So, I want to be completely honest here and say that I was really surprised when waze asked me to stop at an area that’s way different than what I was expecting. The building was kind of old and there were not a lot of people roaming around that place.

So, we entered this old building and the guard told us to head to the 2nd floor where BPM is. When we reached the 2nd floor, we saw a white door with a label that reads “Ball Pit Manila” and upon opening that door, the mood literally turned from boring to fun! I immediately wanted to hop in the pool of balls and play but it was full of people that time so I waited for quite a bit until there were only 2 people left inside. To be completely honest, the pool was way smaller than what I had in mind but man, the fun I had was beyond imagination. As I hopped in the pool, I instantly felt like the kid I used to be. It was hella fun! So first, I had to grab a quick photo-op of course. After that, I played until our time was finished. Btw, the payment was inclusive of complimentary drinks so after playing, we got to sit and cool up for a while before leaving.

Overall, the experience was indescribable! Was it worth it? Super! Was it fun? Beyond imagination! One tip though, be sure to have someone with you when you visit this place. Although they have approachable staff that you may ask to take photos of you, it’s still always better to have someone to share the fun with.

Charlie Puth LIVE! in Manila Concert Experience

An ecstatic frenzy! — Words are not enough to describe how good the whole Charlie Puth concert experience we all (especially the Puthers) have witnessed live in Kia Theatre, Quezon City, Philippines last August 14, 2016.

It was on April 13, 2016 at exactly 10:00 AM when the ticket selling started. I was in our office back then, waiting for the countdown to finish and hoping to get VIP passes. With my heart ticking like a bomb in a birdcage, I immediately went for it and luckily got 2 VIP center tickets! 4 months had passed and excitement has filled my entire system. I’ve thought of many things during those 4 months, like “What stuff should I bring?”, “Should I make myself a custom Charlie Puth shirt?” and many more. Not to mention how I patiently memorized every single song on his Nine Track Mind album.

On the actual day of his concert, it was raining so bad in Manila (Probably in the whole Philippines actually) due to the southwest monsoon. Since the concert will start at 8pm, I decided to try and experience firsthand one of the most trending cafes in the metro at the moment, Ball Pit Manila. After playing at the pool of white-colored balls (LOL), I hurriedly went to Gateway Mall in Cubao to meet 2 of my previous office friends, Renlyn & Jeena. We catched up and exchanged stories over a scrumptious feast at Burgoo before heading to Kia Theatre which is only a few steps away from Gateway.

Everything was perfect until we saw the crazy long queue of the concert attendees. It took as roughly an hour to get inside the venue! It was a relief when we finally got in *then boom* a guard confiscated the battery of my Fujifilm XT-10. I felt super depressed considering that Charlie’s concert was one of the factors that pushed me to get the said cam earlier (My original plan was to get it this coming Nov, as an early birthday gift for myself) because I didn’t want to use my bulky Canon 650D. Wait, there’s more. The worst part of it all was sitting there and seeing other attendees holding cameras. Like, wtf? Seriously? If you guys are going to confiscate camera batteries, make sure you’ll get all of it! It just sucks that they get to capture high-res snaps while I’m left with no choice but to use the sucky cam of my iPhone.

A DJ named Katsy Lee was the opening act. She played some good music and kept us all sane until Charlie arrived. After roughly an hour, a deafening noise blocked all our ears as Charlie sing “Marvin Gaye” for his opening song. He sang nearly all the tracks on his Nine Track Mind album apart from “As You Are”. After more than an hour of great show, he finally bid farewell and left the stage. The next part, which I think was the highlight of the whole concert, was when he returned on stage and sang “See You Again” after we, the whole crowd, numerously screamed “We want more!”.

Leaving the venue was a bit of a pain for we were seated near 2 Filipino artists, Kiray Celis and Yohan Hwang (I love OPM‘s first-ever Grand Touristar) who were both being mobbed by the audience.

Overall, I’m rating my whole Charlie Puth concert experience a 9/10. If it wasn’t for the poor management of Kia Theatre, it would’ve been a perfect 10! But srsly, Charlie Puth is one heck of a performer! Thank you for the wonderful experience!
