7 Things to Love in Thailand

Magical Thailand Experience in 5 Days

Amazing attractions, good food, and awesome people are probably every traveler’s top 3 criteria on choosing a travel destination and finding all those things in one country is surely a dream come true! For a blogger like me, it is imperative to find instagrammable areas to take photos in. Last July, I was given the opportunity to explore Thailand for 5 days and it was a whirlwind experience. In any case, here are my seven favorite things about Thailand:

The price is right

Almost everything is cheaper in Thailand: food, souvenirs, and even clothing! When things that are considered quite luxurious back in your country are within your budget, it is easy to spend a lot and not even realize.

Food is not an issue

I’d be honest; I am not an adventurous eater. I was really worried about finding food or going hungry. To my surprise, all sorts of food can be found at all hours. You can find literally any kind of cuisine whether it be Italian, Mexican, Indian or whatever it is that you crave. There are night markets that offer wide-variety of food and snacks. There are also various restaurant options, from cheap ones to more upscale ones. Not to mention that there are 24/7 convenience stores on almost every alley and many delivery options. Cheap and good food is available at all times which make it nearly impossible not to gain weight.

Lit nightlife, if you’re into that

There are numerous tourist spots like Soi Cowboy and Khao San Road which are insane! They are a must-see, especially for tourists like us who are far beyond from being party animals, because chances are you have never experienced anything quite like that. There are many clubs and lounges to choose from, especially in Sukhumvit Road and Ekamai.

Spa is everywhere

Not everyone enjoys being touched nor massaged but to me, having the mere option of getting a massage or a foot spa on almost every alley is awesome. Bangkok is filled with spa and massage places. The cost ranges from Php 150-1000 for an hour which is definitely a steal.

Thai people

Thai people are exceptionally kind and friendly. No wonder Thailand is known as the “Land of Smiles”. Even if they don’t understand how we speak, they still smile.

Its serenity

Thailand is known for its various temples that thousands of tourists visit each day. The ones in Ayutthaya like Wat Chaiwatthanaram, Wat Mahathat and many other old ruins are very peaceful. If you are someone who wants to break free from stress, you may want to consider visiting Thailand. Imagine yourself, taking on a walk whilst appreciating good sights and breathing in some fresh air. What can be more peaceful, right?

The country is versatile

You don’t have to be a temple-lover to visit Thailand. If you love historical places, you can check out Ayutthaya. If you love nature and beaches, you will adore Pattaya. If you are a party animal, there are numerous places for you. If you love food, Thailand is totally the place to be! You can do so much stuff in Thailand that there will surely be no dead air.
